Nearing the end of August I found I was admiring daisies. The variety seen in the fields and gardens this year have been spectacular. From pink, mauve and the traditional white and yellow, the daisies seem to be everywhere.
Daisies always reminds me of when I was a girl. I had that idealistic childhood of being barefoot and living in the country. Wildflowers to make flower crowns, wearing daisy chains around our necks my friends and I enjoyed every summer’s day.
Recently I created a simple yellow daisy design with a digital software program.
I wanted to use this daisy to create merchandise for carefree girls and women using a Zazzle store. Thus, the Daisy Chain Shop was born.
Today I thought I would reach out and tell you about the Picasso’s Blue Cat tote bag giveaway I am currently running on my Facebook page. You will have to excuse me I am a bit shy when it comes to promoting myself so openly. My strategy is to have image links and an occasional link in posts for this sort of thing. However, I am pretty excited about these wonderful tote bags my artwork are featured on.
I use Fine Art America to showcase my work and they have added full bleed tote bags to their product line. These tote bags are wonderful, I did order a few to see how they add up. My artwork are featured on both sides of these soft, durable, poly-poplin fabric bags. They include a 1′ black shoulder strap too. Double stitched side for durability and they are also machine washable. Available in three sizes, you can’t go wrong.
I have decided to hold a free giveaway on my Facebook page using my Picasso’s Blue Cat tote bag. It is very easy to participate. Just “like” and share the post found on my page and you are automatically entered into the drawing. It is really that easy. So long into Facebook and go to my Lasgalen Arts Fan Page to enter. I hope to see you there.
Often times I realize I am creating smartphone art. My personal belief is art which contributes to daily life enhances our state of minds and our ability to remain open minded. I very much like the idea that art can function to assist us in our daily lives.
I have the opportunity to utilize the services of Zazzle.com and put my art to work for me. Today I thought I’d share with you my cases and other ways you can jazz up your smartphones with lively art.
I’ve created smartphone art cases using Barely There cases in three different case styles. The Barely There model is a light weight case includes a slim profile. The Tough includes a shock absorbing flexible liner. And the Tough Xtreme includes a super tough liner as well as a screen protector.
I think smartphone art could say a lot about those that choose them. If you are a carefree soul you could use a whimsical design such as my Blue Cat painting. Or for those who are on the edge my Abstract Pipes mixed media case could be a reflection of who you are.
I’ve tried to use my most appealing art and photography for these and other smartphone cases I have available. I’m creating more cases each day. I also have smartphone art cases for other iPhone models.
I would be remiss not to let you know about more iPhone 6 cases available at Zazzle.com. They have a featured page called the Pop-Up Shop as well as their iPhone 6 case Marketplace. I hope you feel compelled to bring a bit of art in your daily life even if it is just smartphone art.
